DESCRIPTION
My introductory pottery workshop in Sicily is a brilliant way to get a feel for working with clay. It is an uplifting, inspiring experience and there is no need for any previous pottery know-how or specific creative skills to follow this class.
Participants are given the opportunity to get a taste for pottery while creating 1 teacher-based piece.
Each participant will be carefully led through one of the following hand-building processes: pinching, slab building or coiling. In 3 hours you will create your very own hand-built piece. Once completed, it will be left to dry, then fired before it is ready for collection or shipping in 2/3 weeks.
Classes can be booked for both total beginners and those interested in upskilling their existing knowledge.
Whether you book for yourself, for a group of friends or are purchasing a gift card for a friend, this is a wonderfully social and spirited introduction to the joys of working with clay.
All equipment and firing is provided.
Private pick-up and drop-off is available on request.
