DESCRIPTION
This is a 4-session course that introduces the hand-building techniques of pinching, coiling and slab-building for small sculptural work, along with an introduction to surface decoration with engobes.
Participants are given the opportunity to get a real taste for pottery while working on 2 teacher-based pieces and 1 personal piece borne from their own creativity.
By the end of the course you will have acquired an overall vision of the 3 hand-building techniques and will be able to start creating your very own ceramic projects.
Classes can be booked for both total beginners and those interested in upskilling their existing knowledge.
